Testimonials

Since starting the B.E.A.T. Gestational Diabetes® program, my energy levels have been better, I am no longer in a constant slum. I initially joined to reduce my morning sugar levels and lose weight but once I started, I was only focused on my blood sugar levels. I am able to test in the morning and I was able to go down 10 points and overall, 30 points lower. What I like about this program is the meal plan that came with it. I am able to plan my meals a week ahead on Saturdays which makes eating clean easier since I am a very busy mom to 3 kids under 5.

Since being in the B.E.A.T. Gestational Diabetes® program (the Before pregnancy stage) I am eating healthier and feeling satisfied. I lost 10 pounds, my skin is clear, I am no longer constipated. I have been tracking my periods on the health app and for the first time in years my period lasted a regular length with no menstrual symptoms or heavy bleeding. I was really shock and I even told my mother! I am about halfway through the program and I am looking forward to more!

Working with Sue-Ellen in the B.E.A.T. Gestational Diabetes® program (Through Delivery and Beyond) has been a good experience. After having my son, my blood sugars started to increase and I wanted to reduce this to prevent Type 2 Diabetes and other health problems. During just a few weeks in the program my A1C went from A1C 6.2-5.9. I learned how to better plan my meals, dine out cautiously and understand what impacts my blood sugar and my health in general. Sue-Ellen is very flexible and created meals upon request”

I found out at 28 weeks that I had elevated blood sugars after the random blood glucose test. Imagine my surprise as a registered dietitian, that I could be receiving this news and thinking of how I might develop gestational diabetes. Thoughts raced through my mind - am I going to have a healthy pregnancy? Am I going to need medication like insulin? Does this mean I will develop diabetes later in life? At that point I had helped countless women in this exact situation but now it seemed like it was going to be my turn...
